Mark Lamb Meets with Arizona Builders Alliance, Discusses Reducing Regulations and Supporting Growth

May 29, 20262 min read

Congressional candidate Mark Lamb met today with leaders from the Arizona Builders Alliance to discuss the challenges facing Arizona's construction industry and the role Washington can play in supporting economic growth.

The Arizona Builders Alliance represents the contractors, builders, skilled tradesmen, and construction professionals who help build Arizona's homes, schools, hospitals, roads, and businesses. Their members play a vital role in creating jobs, strengthening communities, and supporting one of the fastest-growing economies in the nation.

During the meeting, Alliance members shared a consistent message: Washington has become too large, too costly, and too involved in the day-to-day operations of American businesses.

Arizona's construction industry continues to face significant challenges, including labor shortages, rising material costs, permitting delays, and burdensome regulations. Industry leaders emphasized that government should focus on removing barriers that prevent businesses from growing and creating jobs.

The Arizona Builders Alliance has long been an advocate for Arizona's construction industry through workforce development, apprenticeship programs, leadership training, education, and government relations. Their efforts help ensure the next generation of skilled workers is prepared to meet Arizona's growing infrastructure and housing needs.

Lamb said the concerns raised by Alliance members align with what he has heard from business owners and job creators throughout Arizona.

"President Trump is cutting red tape and unleashing American business and ingenuity," Lamb said. "The people who build Arizona deserve a government that works with them, not against them. In Congress, I'll help President Trump finish the job by fighting for policies that reduce unnecessary regulations, support workforce development, and strengthen Arizona's economy."

Lamb thanked the Arizona Builders Alliance for their support and for taking the time to discuss the priorities of Arizona's construction industry.

As Arizona continues to grow, Lamb believes Congress must focus on creating an environment where businesses can thrive, workers can succeed, and critical infrastructure projects can move forward without unnecessary federal interference.

"The contractors, builders, and skilled tradesmen who build Arizona understand what it takes to create opportunity," Lamb said. "Washington should be helping them succeed, not standing in their way."
