Secure Borders Require Consistent Enforcement

Lamb discussed recent immigration enforcement operations and explained that when law enforcement agencies actively enforce existing laws, they often discover significant numbers of individuals who entered or remain in the country illegally.

According to Lamb, securing the border requires more than political rhetoric. It requires consistent enforcement, cooperation between agencies, and long-term legislative solutions.

Congress Must Finish the Job

While praising President Trump's executive actions on immigration, Lamb emphasized that executive orders alone are not enough.

He argued that Congress must pass permanent immigration reforms that strengthen border security, improve enforcement, and prevent future administrations from reversing successful policies.

As a candidate for Congress, Lamb said securing the border remains one of his highest priorities.

Leadership Matters on the World Stage

The interview also touched on ongoing negotiations with Iran.

Lamb expressed support for negotiating from a position of strength while cautioning that Iran has a long history of delaying agreements and using negotiations as a stalling tactic.

He stressed that American leadership must remain focused on protecting national security interests and supporting allies abroad.

The Republican Party Has a Strong Future

When asked about the future of Republican leadership, Lamb highlighted Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio as examples of a strong and growing conservative bench.

He described the situation as "a good problem to have" and said the Republican Party is well-positioned for the future because of the quality of leaders emerging across the country.

After discussing these issues on American Sunrise, Mark Lamb shared the following thoughts with Arizona voters:

Border security directly impacts our communities. Immigration policy affects public safety, economic stability, and national security. Decisions made in Washington have real consequences for families across Arizona every day.

President Trump has taken important action to secure the border through executive orders, but executive orders can be undone. That's why we must send proven conservative leaders to Congress who will codify those policies into law, permanently secure our border, and finally fix our broken immigration system.

He knows Arizona needs a Congressman who will fight to secure the border, support law enforcement, and help turn his America First agenda into permanent law. That's exactly what I intend to do as your Congressman.
